Britain’s construction industry elite have congratulated the winners of the Sunday Express Construction and Property Awards.
The tributes were presented at a lavish ceremony in Manchester on Thursday night, hosted by broadcaster Janet Street-Porter.
The undisputed kings of the night were Legacie, who won the prestigious Real Estate Developer of the Year and Regeneration Impact awards with their jaw-dropping “Gateway” project and consolidated their place at the top of urban transformation projects.
Sponsored by Sevadis, the event builds on last year’s successful start, reflecting the scale, diversity and passion of the vital sector.

Loose Women star Street-Porter said on the night: “It was an absolute privilege to host what is undoubtedly the biggest and most exciting awards event for the construction and property industry in Britain.
“The standard of talent, innovation and achievement on display tonight was extraordinary.
“These winners aren’t just building projects; they’re shaping communities, stimulating regeneration and helping to define the future of the UK’s built environment. It’s a truly fantastic group of winners.”
Among the winners, Jarron Developments took the title of Build to Rent Developer of the Year, while Strada Real Estate won the International Real Estate Agency of the Year award.
Seddon Homes was recognized for its Outstanding Commitment to Regeneration, while Kinrise received the Urban Renaissance Award for its work breathing new life into urban areas.
DT Hughes Group was honored for its Social Impact, reflecting the growing importance of community-led development, and Morpheus Lending was awarded the Future of Real Estate Finance award, lauded for its innovation in finance.
The importance of strong supply chains was also recognized, with both DPL Fabrications and Tate Steel being honored with Outstanding Supplier Awards.

Elsewhere, Eric Wright Group enjoyed a remarkable night by securing both the National Construction Business of the Year and Property Deal of the Year, while Hodder + Partners celebrated double success with Claire Hodder named Female Property Champion of the Year and the practice winning the Architecture Business of the Year award.
Mountain Earth’s Sam Heyes was awarded Male Ownership Champion of the Year.
The evening climaxed with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year went to Dave Hughes, the driving force behind family-run civil engineering firm DT Hughes.
Founded over thirty years ago, the company has grown from humble beginnings into a respected name in the industry.
