The King’s School headmaster controversy spills into court

Tony George, the controversial principal of The King’s School, is suing the school over his termination, with claims said to be between $4 million and $6 million. What is fraud?
The scam suggests the leadership of Australia’s oldest independent school has been in a holding pattern since it was revealed last July that George had “cut off a child’s ear” during a Religious Education lesson. The school subsequently held an ‘independent investigation’ into the incident and now George has taken the matter to the Federal Court.
George’s position had become untenable following the incident and the revelation of financial mismanagement amidst the growing discontent of the King’s teaching staff and the old men.
