The Open 2025: Rory McIlroy says Portrush win would be ‘just as emotional’ as Masters triumph

McILOY, who ranked second at the Irish Open in Royal County Down last year, confesses that he was not ready for his support level in Portrush in 2019, and that he did not feel after trying to separate himself from the excitement around his first big appearance at home.
The Hollywood native launched the championship with a disaster, and the first round of 79, while broadcasting the four-bogay eight, hit the opening T-shirt from the borders. Spirit had a second round of fight, but he missed the semi -segment.
“I am very happy to return very soon because I want to be another crack.” He said.
“I didn’t have the week I wanted in 2019.
And he says he won’t stay away from attention this week.
“I think I’ve probably tried to isolate it, and I think it’s better for everyone if I embrace it,” he added.
“I think it’s better for me because even though I fight from time to time, it’s nice to accept adult. But it’s good for the first time in a few years.
“It just creates a better interaction.”
