Third teenager charged after 15-year-old Melbourne boy allegedly left to die from stab wounds | Victoria

A third teenager has been charged with fatally stabbing a 15-year-old boy outside a Melbourne hospital.
Police say a 14-year-old boy from Victoria’s Hume district was arrested on Friday evening and charged with murder. He was scheduled to appear in juvenile court.
Mickleham teenager Darweish Mohamed was found seriously injured outside Craigieburn public hospital in the north of the city at around 7.50pm on Wednesday.
A staff member from the clinic immediately rushed to his aid and performed heart massage, but he died at the scene.
Police arrested two men in the nearby suburb of Pascoe Vale in the early hours of Thursday.
A 16-year-old boy from the Goulburn Valley has been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear in juvenile court. A 20-year-old man from Beveridge was also charged with criminal damage resulting from the fire and was bailed to appear at Broadmeadows magistrates’ court on December 1.
A burnt out car found at Oaklands Junction has also been linked to the stabbing.
Later on Friday, police said a second murder charge had been laid against a 15-year-old boy from the Craigieburn area. He will also face juvenile court.
A 15-year-old girl from the Fawkner area was charged with affray and motor vehicle theft and was released on bail to appear in juvenile court at a later date.
Dervish’s loved ones asked community members to pray for him.
Family friend Mohamed Bakhit started a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to cover funeral expenses.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother Darweish,” the fundraising page reads.

“No family should have to experience a loss like this and our hearts go out to their loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
The campaign had raised more than $54,000 toward its $60,000 goal as of Saturday morning. He asks those who cannot donate to keep Darweish and his family in their prayers, an Arabic word meaning a type of Islamic prayer.
When asked about the death of a Mount Ridley College student, Victoria’s education department confirmed it would provide support to affected school communities.
“The death of any young person is a tragedy,” a spokesman told AAP.
“The death of the teenager in the violence that occurred on Wednesday will be extremely distressing for the local communities involved.”
