Three Chester hospital bosses arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in Lucy Letby investigation

Three people were arrested on suspicion of a heavy negligence after an investigation into Lucy Letby murders.
The 35 -year -old nurse serves 15 all life orders for the murder of seven babies and the killing of seven people in Chester Hospital Between June 2015 and June 2016.
Cheshire Constabulary said on Tuesday that three members of the senior leadership team at the Chestter Hospital between 2015-2016 were arrested between 2015-2016 on suspicion of severe neglected man after the investigation of Letby’s murder convictions.
Operation Duet Senior Investigation Officer Paul Hughes said, “In October 2023, after Lucy Letby’s long trial and subsequent conviction, the Cheshire Constabulary launched an investigation into the Corporate Man -Milling at the Chester Hospital (COCH) Council.
“This focuses on the decision -making process to determine if there is any guilt with high -level leadership and the response to increasing levels of death.
“In March 2025, the scope of the investigation expanded to include heavy negligence.
“This is a separate crime for institutional manslaughter and focuses on the great negligent action or inactivity of individuals.
“As a part of our ongoing investigations, three people, who were part of the senior leadership team at Coch on Monday, June 30, were arrested on suspicion of killing severely neglected man.
“All three later continued to expect more investigations.
“Both corporate manslaughter and heavy negligence continue the massacre elements of the investigation, and there is no specific time schedule for them.
“In the neo-natural units of Liverpool Women’s Hospital between both Chester Hospital and 2012 and 2016 periods, our research on the deaths of babies and non-fatal collapse continues.”
