Three men arrested for sexual assault of teenage girls at Seacroft Green shopping centre in Leeds

Three people were arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting two young girls.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Seacroft Green shopping center in Leeds at around 8.45pm on Tuesday to reports of “ongoing suspicious behavior regarding males nearby”.

Officers found two boys and two teenage girls, police said.

The men, aged 38 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault against the girls. They remained in custody on New Year’s Eve.

A third man, 20, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault and remains in custody, police said.

Police said Leeds area security officers were reviewing all the circumstances of the alleged incident and continue to support the girls.
