Three Sydney drive-by shootings in four hours
Sydney’s spate of gun violence continued on Wednesday night with three shootings in four hours; Houses and a business were shot at before two cars were found set on fire.
Police are investigating whether the incidents in Sydney’s southwest are linked due to ongoing conflict between splinter organized crime networks.

The first shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Margaret Street in Fairfield, where multiple shots were fired into a home before a dark SUV left the scene.
A Fairfield resident, who declined to give his name, told Nine’s: “We heard these gunshots, there would have been about six or eight gunshots in rapid succession and there was a slight pause and then another volley.” Today program.
“We thought, ‘What’s going on here? This isn’t our neighborhood.'”
A man and a woman in their 20s were at the home but escaped without injury.

Bullet casings were still visible at the scene Wednesday morning.
The attack in Fairfield was followed by another attack in Aberdeen Street, Bossley Park, at around 11.55pm; A single shot was fired at a caravan parked on the street before a white Audi sedan fled the scene.
