Tim Walz floats deploying National Guard to Minneapolis after ICE shooting in blistering message to Trump: Live updates

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis on Wednesday, as the Trump administration pressured the city.

The woman, identified as Renee Nicole Good (37), was shot while walking towards the police during ICE operations in Minneapolis. DHS Deputy Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told the Daily Mail that he was “trying to kill them.”

Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to declare that the woman driving the car was a “professional agitator” who “violently, willfully and brutally ran over the ICE Officer” before the agent acted in self-defense.

The statement said DHS “used a gun on his vehicle” and described his actions as “an act of domestic terrorism.”

Democratic Mayor Jacob Frey criticized ICE’s characterization of the shooting, telling them to “get the hell out of Minneapolis.”

‘They are already trying to portray this as an act of self-defense. After watching the video myself, I want to tell everyone directly that this is nonsense.’

Gov. Tim Walz said he warned Minnesota Rangers to prepare to be deployed to Minneapolis.

‘We have soldiers in training and ready to deploy if necessary,’ he said.

‘They’re the teachers in your community, they’re the business owners, they’re the construction professionals, they’re Minnesotans.

‘Minnesota will not allow our community to be used as support in a national political struggle. We won’t take the bait.’

Breaking:Woman shot and killed by ICE identified as Renee Nicole Good

It was announced that the woman who was shot and killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minnesota was 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.

Good’s name was provided by his mother, Donna Ganger, who told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune Wednesday afternoon.

“This is so stupid,” Ganger said of his daughter’s death. ‘He was probably very scared.’ Ganger also insisted Good was “not a part of anything like this,” referring to protests against ICE at the time and location of Good’s killing.

Good was shot three times in the face during a protest in Minneapolis on Wednesday after he ignored ICE agents’ requests to get out of his car and tried to turn around and drive away.

Eyewitnesses describe chaotic scene during the shooting

Witnesses told FOX 9 They watched the woman shot and killed by ICE agents get into her car Wednesday morning.

They reported seeing an ICE agent on each side of the vehicle trying to get inside and a third ICE agent trying to open the driver’s door.

According to witnesses, the agent moved away from the door, then fired through the driver’s window.

They said the doctor at the scene tried to help the woman but could not.

When the ambulance arrived, eyewitnesses said that the ambulance could not reach the vehicle due to other cars on the street.

Agents carried a ‘limp body’ down the street and loaded it into an ambulance.

White House and Homeland Security alongside ICE agents

The White House and Homeland Security announced solidarity with law enforcement on social media after a woman was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

“We stand with the brave men and women of ICE and law enforcement who risk everything to keep our communities safe,” the White House wrote.

Homeland Security issued a “STOP WITH ICE” message.

Videos show woman shot to death by ICE agents

The last moments of a 37-year-old woman who was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer were immortalized with blood-curdling videos shot from various angles.

The woman, whose identity has not yet been determined, was shot and killed after she allegedly drove her car into agents during Donald Trump’s latest crackdown on immigrants in Minneapolis.

While federal authorities claimed the attack was an act of self-defense, the city’s mayor condemned it as ‘reckless’ and unnecessary.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar says she’s concerned about conflicting reports about shootings

Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar said Homeland Security’s statement on the deadly ICE shooting in Minneapolis contradicts reports on the ground.

“This tragedy is the result of the administration sending federal agents onto our streets against the wishes of local law enforcement, including our esteemed Police Chief Brian O’Hara,” he wrote on X.

‘We need full transparency and investigation into what happened, and I am deeply concerned that the statements made by DHS do not reflect the video evidence and statements at the scene.

‘While our immigration enforcement should be focused on apprehending and prosecuting violent criminals to make our communities safer, these ICE actions do the exact opposite and make our state less safe.’

Walz criticizes Trump administration: ‘Don’t you have any manners?’

Governor Tim Walz claimed the Trump administration wanted to create chaos after a woman was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

‘Don’t you have any manners? “There is someone in his car who died for no reason,” he said.

Walz urged people to protest peacefully and claimed the Trump administration wanted to create a chaotic environment in Minneapolis.

‘And now we’re hearing more political rhetoric? That’s enough. “Minnesota people, don’t take the bait,” he said.

‘Don’t let them invoke the Sedition Act, don’t let them declare martial law.

‘I encourage you to exercise your First Amendment rights, but do so peacefully.’

Protesters began gathering at the scene, where Homeland Security said the woman was shot and killed by ICE agents ‘after installing a gun in her vehicle’ and called her actions an ‘act of domestic terrorism’.

The victim has not been officially identified

The victim of Wednesday’s ICE attack has not been identified, Gov. Tim Walz said.

‘This is an open investigation,’ he said.
