Timothy Busfield sexually abused third child whose therapist dad thought it would be better for actor to receive COUNSELING than be arrested, explosive new court documents allege

West Wing star Timothy Busfield has been accused of sexually abusing a third child in an explosive new case seen by the Daily Mail.
The 68-year-old Emmy-winning actor was accused last week of sexually assaulting twin boys on the set of The Cleaning Lady from 2022 to 2024.
Now, a motion filed in New Mexico accuses Busfield of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who was auditioning for a show.
The alleged victim’s father told police that Busfield groped the aspiring actress “a few years ago” at the theater he founded in Sacramento, California.
“The 16-year-old, who attended the audition for the defendant at B Street Threatre, reported that he kissed her, put his hands under her pants and touched her private parts,” the motion states. The statement was included.
Busfield allegedly “begged the family not to notify law enforcement if he sought treatment” and that the alleged victim’s father “felt it was the best thing to do at the time since he was a therapist himself.”
The actor surrendered to the police and denied all charges against him.
He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Bernalillo County pending a brief hearing before a magistrate judge on Wednesday.

Prosecutors plan to press for him to remain detained without bail, the Daily Mail has learned.
Busfield faced sexual abuse accusations this week, and according to reports, his wife, Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert, was listening in on speakerphone while he talked to police about the allegations in November 2025.
The previous lawsuit, filed in New Mexico, alleges that Busfield inappropriately touched two child actors on the set of the movie The Cleaning Lady, which he also directed.
According to the arrest warrant, the investigation into Busfield was initiated in November 2024 after University of New Mexico Hospital staff called police to report that children were potentially being taken into care on the set of the TV show from 2022 to 2024.
The warrant stated that Busfield told an Albuquerque Police Department investigator that he was in New York at the time.
Busfield is said to have ignored the allegations as a fabricated revenge plot against him and continues to deny the allegations.
The boys involved were 11 at the time, and one of them said he was also targeted by Busfield when he was seven.
Allegedly, during his interview with the police, Busfield told the police that the children’s parents made these allegations because they were upset that their sons were replaced by a younger actor on the show.

This week, federal agents raided Busfield and Gilbert’s home in upstate New York less than an hour after he surrendered.
At least 10 officers from the New York Regional Fugitive Task Force slammed open the gates of the $300,000 property on tiny Highland Lake in the Catskill Mountains and demanded that all residents leave.
The raid, witnessed exclusively by the Daily Mail, took place an hour after news broke that Busfield had turned himself in to authorities in New Mexico and declared himself innocent of all charges.
When they received no response at the door, police officers wearing helmets and shields and armed with assault rifles and riot gear burst into the house with a battering ram and knocked on the white front door.
Several law enforcement officers spent about ten minutes examining the interior before clearing behind the snowy lot, which also contained a trailer and outbuilding.
They looked like they didn’t take any of their belongings when they left.
Seven vehicles pulled into the driveway of the secluded home 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania border, which the couple dubbed the retreat.
This is a breaking news with updates to follow.
