TNA’s KC Navarro and Xia Brookside earn future championship shots

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) kicked off and ended with All-Star matches in its clash of champions that helped determine the No. 1 contender for two championships.
The men’s match started with “Coup”. Elijah, Eric Young, Frankie Kazarian, KC Navarro and Leon Slater faced tag team champions Bear Bronson and Brian Myers, international champion Mustafa Ali, X Division champion Cedric Alexander and TNA world champion Mike Santana. If an All-Star defeated one of the champions, they would automatically get a chance at the title.

Navarro took advantage of this and tried to defeat Ali by working with Slater at the end of the match. Navarro would pin Ali for a shot at the TNA International Championship after losing to AJ Francis at the Sac Town Street Fight a few weeks ago.
Elayna Black, Mara Sadé and Xia Brookside then faced TNA Knockouts champion Lei Ying Lee and Knockouts tag team champions Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance.
Brookside and Lee have been at odds for over a month over the former best friends’ split. The Elegance Brand also wasn’t going to let any of the All-Stars pass them by. M by Elegance and Heather by Elegance mostly controlled the match for their team, avoiding Lee being tagged. Sadé mostly felt the presence of the team team. Heather eventually tagged Lee and captured Brookside.
Mr. Elegance would eventually insert himself into the match. He tripped Lee, who went for a DDT by Brookside. Brookside pinned Lee and earned himself a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
Fabian Aichner signs with TNA and makes his in-ring debut

TNA announced earlier Thursday that Fabian Aichner had officially signed with the company following his forfeiture of Cedric Alexander’s X Division Championship victory over Leon Slater two weeks ago.
Aichner promised to bring down the System, and last week he proved it by single-handedly destroying the entire group. He made his in-ring debut against Eddie Edwards on Thursday.
Edwards did his best to keep Aichner down; This included doing a backpack stun move and using the ropes to annoy Aichner. Alisha Edwards even got her hands dirty and joined the match. Alisha Edwards was caught trying to use a kendo stick on Aichner and was ejected from the match.
The system arrived to back up Edwards but learned that Aichner could fly. He hit a cross splash onto the group and hit a springboard DDT. He was about to put Edwards out of the game, but The System interrupted the match, causing the disqualification.
Leon Slater is heading to Ultimate X
Ultimate X is one of the most exciting matches in TNA history and will return at Slammiversary in June.
The “Impact” broadcast announced that Slater would appear in the next Ultimate X match due to Cedric Alexander putting his X Division championship on the line. There are 4 names yet to be announced for the match.
Slammiversary will be held on June 28 at Agganis Arena.

Stacks gains advantage over Santino Marella

It had been more than five months since Santino Marella stepped into the TNA ring and almost a year since he made his singles debut. TNA’s Director of Authority is at loggerheads with Stacks Lorenzo, who he says corrupted Marella’s daughter Arianna Grace.
The rivalry between the two came to a head in Sacramento when TNA Director of Operations Daria Rae booked Marella and Lorenzo in a match last week. And everything started well for Marella. He was putting the pain on his soon-to-be son-in-law.
Lorenzo taunted Marella throughout the match, hitting him with multiple knees to the stomach. Marella would come back into the match and break the cobra, which allowed Lorenzo to roll up Marella and get the quick pin for the win.
Grace added insult to injury. She tried to slap him before Marella stopped him. Lorenzo caught him off guard and began his post-match attack. Indi Hartwell arrived to assist Marella and challenged Lorenzo and Grace to a mixed tag team match.
Rae appeared and reminded Hartwell that she wasn’t making matches. However, he said he would “love” to see Lorenzo beat Marella again and scheduled a mixed tag team match for next week.
