Toddler rushed to Tara Hospital following life-threatening water incident

A toddler is fighting for his life after being pulled from the water on a property in Tara, Queensland.

Emergency services were called at around 13:00 on Monday after it was reported that the young boy had been under water for a long time.

Paramedics rushed him to Tara Hospital, where his condition remains critical.

While police and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, the investigation into the incident continues.

Tara is approximately 320 km west of Brisbane.
