Top-secret Air Force jet spotted near Area 51 just days after UFO disclosure

A top-secret Air Force jet was seen making multiple trips to the highly secretive Area 51 just days after the first UFO files were made public.

Flight tracking data recorded a Boeing 737-600 known as ‘Janet’ departing the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTF), which houses Area 51, at 13:57 ET.

About two hours earlier, the plane took a 40-minute flight to the Tonopah Test Range, an airstrip at the northern end of the complex commonly referred to as Area 52.

The latest flight marked the mystery plane’s fourth trip out of the facility on Wednesday alone, according to public records on flight tracking site ADSB exchange.

The plane is part of the U.S. military’s Janet fleet, which transports government contractors, War Department officials and military personnel to secure facilities containing classified information and technology at the classified complex.

Overall, this particular Janet was seen making dozens of flights to Area 51 and Area 52 in the days following the historic first batch of UFO files released by the Pentagon on May 8.

Area 51 has been a notorious military zone for decades, with UFO researchers and conspiracy theorists claiming secret government projects have been operating there since the 1950s.

Government whistleblowers and UFO investigators have claimed to have seen and photographed unidentified objects flying over Area 51 for decades; Many of these do not resemble normal aircraft or behave like human-made technology.

Designed by Boeing, Janet is a white jet with a single red stripe front to back. The squadron flies contractor workers and military personnel to secure bases where classified materials are located.

This Janet, with registration number N273RH, has made more than 60 trips between Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and the massive military complex since April 26, according to Flight Aware.

But 23 of those flights have occurred since May 8, when 162 files on UFO sightings, FBI witness interviews, and images, videos, and audio recordings of unexplained encounters were released as part of the Trump Administration’s disclosure campaign.

While Wednesday’s flights took Janet to Area 52 near Tonopah, N273RH was seen landing in Groom Lake at least twice on May 7, the day before the UFO revelation began.

Groom Lake is a dry salt flat in Nevada used as an airport and runway for personnel arriving at Area 51.

Although the U.S. government and the Pentagon have maintained for decades that there is no physical evidence of UFOs or extraterrestrial life, the NTTF has been associated for decades with secret research on advanced aircraft and propulsion technologies.

Former Air Force Sergeant David Crete, who served with the NTTF, previously told the Daily Mail that America’s first stealth bomber, the F-117A Nighthawk, was developed and tested at the base.

In February, U.S. Congressman Eric Burlison of Missouri announced that he had requested and been granted access to secure locations, including Area 51, as part of Congress’ investigation into UFO-related government secrets.

That same month, President Trump ordered that all information the federal government, intelligence community, and military had accumulated about UFOs and alien life be made public. Despite the decision, members of Congress claimed that important evidence was suppressed.

Area 51, an area of more than 2.9 million acres, is located in the Nevada Test and Training Range.

House Oversight Committee members Tim Burchett and Anna Paulina Luna previously claimed that members of the ‘intelligence community’ in 2023 were denied access to SCIF, a secure room used by the government and military to discuss highly classified information.

Last month, Rep. Luna announced that the Pentagon had failed to meet an April 14 deadline to release 46 videos containing UFO sightings over military installations and war zones.

The second wave of UFO documents is reportedly expected to be released later this month.
