‘No one was on board’: Rescue abandoned after grim discovery

An emergency search for the lost fisherman Geoff Buchanan was abandoned after 150km out of the sea, whose boat was dragged unmanned and aimlessly.

Mr. Buchanan’s close friend and Batemans Bateman Mr D’Bora Marina, Mitch Chaffey, said ABC Mr. Buchanan is a very experienced water man.
“Geoff is very experienced in water and water throughout his life, Fisherman, skin diver, who knows his way around a boat,” Chaffey said.
