Tribal documentation camp at Nilambur on July 11

A tribal documentation camp will be held in Nilambur on July 11 to provide necessary documentation and services to tribal people living in Nilambur forests and forest edges. The camp is planned to be held at Government Manavedan School.
The plans for the camp were determined at a meeting held in Perinthalmanna on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Sub-Collector Sakshi Mohan chaired the meeting.
The camp aims to provide multiple services under one roof, including birth, caste and income certificates, Aadhaar services, bank account opening, voter ID, ration card, MGNREGA job cards, Unique Health Identification (UHID) and access to private medical examinations, officials said.
Heads of departments were appointed as nodal officers to ensure smooth arrangements.
Ms. Mohan said that the review meeting of nodal officers and a separate meeting of the organizing committee will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Nilambur.
