8 out of 10 most India’s valuable companies add ₹4.13 lakh crore mcap amid US-Iran ceasefire; HDFC, ICICI Bank top list

The total market valuation of eight of the 10 most valuable companies has increased so far 4,13,003.23 crore last week, while HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank emerged as the top gainers along with the optimistic trend in stocks.

Last week, BSE index Sensex increased by 4,230.7 points or 5.77 percent and NSE Nifty increased by 1,337.5 points or 5.88 percent.

“Sentiment remained buoyant amid optimism over a temporary US-Iran ceasefire, but ongoing geopolitical uncertainties limited the pace of gains as the week progressed,” said Ajit Mishra, Senior Vice President, Research, Religare Broking Ltd. he said.

He added that the sharp decline in crude oil prices below the USD 100 level has eased domestic concerns and triggered a strong recovery in the markets.

From the top 10 pack, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro and Hindustan Unilever emerged as winners, while Reliance Industries and Infosys faced erosion in their valuations.

HDFC Bank added 91,282.67 crore, taking the market valuation 12,47,478.57 crore.

ICICI Bank’s valuation rises Up to 76,036.36 crore 9,46,741.85 crore while Bajaj Finance’s also increased 60,980.35 crore 5,75,206.47 crore.

Market cap (mcap) of Zoomed Larsen & Toubro Up to 47,624.97 crore 5,44,736.59 crore and Bharti Airtel’s climbed Up to 45,873.43 crore 10,66,293.69 crore.

State Bank of India’s mcap rises Up to 43,614.67 crore TCS’s rose slightly at 9,84,629.98 crore Up to 26,303.49 crore 9,13,331.92 crore.

Hindustan Unilever’s market value increased Up to 21,287.29 crore 5,06,477.89 crore.

But Infosys’ mcap fell 3,285.03 crore 5,24,124.40 crore.

Reliance Industries’ valuation falls up to 947.28 crore 18,27,086.79 crore.

Reliance Industries remained the most valuable domestic firm, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys and Hindustan Unilever.
