Teenager left fighting for life after house party stabbing at Shalvey, NSW

A teenager is fighting for his life after being stabbed during a fight at a house party in Sydney’s west.
Police were called to a house in Sedgman Crescent, Shalvey, at around 10.40pm on Tuesday following reports of a fight at a party being held at the property.
Officers found a 17-year-old boy stabbed multiple times in the home’s garage.
The person, who was in critical condition, was treated by medical teams before being taken to hospital.
Police said about 40 people attended the party before a fight broke out, and officers from the riot squad and canine unit remained at the scene to control the crowd.
Shalvey’s home was turned into a crime scene as police investigations continued.
“There have been no other reports of injuries and no arrests have been made at this time,” NSW Police said.
