Caitlin Clark honored for massive career milestone before Fever fall in overtime thriller

Catilin Clark is just starting her third season in the WNBA and is already being honored for major career accomplishments in a pre-game ceremony.
Is this good? I think this is good.

One of the biggest storylines this season so far came in the Fever’s season opener against the Dallas Wings when Clark scored his 1,000th career point.
He achieved this feat in just 54 games, becoming the fastest player to reach more than 1,000 points, more than 250 assists and more than 250 rebounds.

The previous mark belonged to WNBA legend Diana Taurasi, and she did it in 62 games.
So before tipoff on Friday, the team took notice of Clark’s success.
Clark didn’t wait long to continue adding to that career point tally and add to her assist total, feeding teammate and OutKick favorite Sophie Cunningham to extend the Fever’s early lead.

Clark finished the night with 32 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds. The biggest came with just one second remaining when he nailed a three-pointer to force overtime.
Clark just has the clutch gene.

Although Indiana managed to take this game to overtime, the Mystics managed to win 104-102 despite late pressure from the Fever.
The fire is down to 1-2 this year and will be back in action on Sunday when the Seattle Storm comes to town.
