Women’s Euro 2025 score predictions: Rachel Brown-Finnis predicts second group games

Spain was very impressive in their 5-0 wins against Portugal. This time at the 2022 European Championship, the UK beat them in the quarterfinals and just start this tournament.
Many teams have seen changes to personnel since this tournament and the 2023 World Cup, but none of them have healed to the extent that Spain has.
When we never adapted to a number of Spain against Portugal, we saw what happened – you should admit that you wouldn’t see most of the ball, you wouldn’t sit and play on the counter, but Portugal didn’t really do it and paid the price.
I don’t expect Belgium to make the same mistake, but it’s still hard to see that they’re out of this game. Losing to Italy was a major blow to the hopes of leaving the group, and this is clearly a much more difficult task.
Belgium has played Spain four times in the last few months, in the League of Nations and this Euro, and has lost every time.
A few of these defeats were heavy, but Belgium occasionally caused them a few problems.
This time I’m not sure how much they will approach the world champions, but at least they know what to expect.
Estimation of Brown-Finnis: 2-0
