Trump has become more candid in his approach to his faith since surviving an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July 2024.

“I believe my life was saved that day at Butler,” he told a joint session of Congress in 2025. “I was saved by God to make America great again. I believe that.”

The President concluded his words by wishing everyone a happy holiday.
