Trump erupts at Epstein files and doubles down on conspiracy claim: ‘I never went to the infested island’

President Donald Trump has once again threatened to sue over allegations that he visited serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private island.

Trump posted an angry rebuttal on Truth Social on Monday afternoon after saying he would sue former Daily Show host Trevor Noah over a joke made about the president at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night on Epstein’s island.

“Not only was I friends with Jeffrey Epstein, but based on information recently released by the Department of Justice, Epstein and a lying “author” of SLEAZEBAG named Michael Wolff conspired to harm me and/or my Presidency,” Trump wrote.

Wolff, author of Trump’s 2018 book Fire and Fury, has been a constant source of ire for the president.

In previously released Epstein emails, Wolff told Epstein he could be the “bullet” that would end Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump also recently threatened to sue Wolff.

“That’s the Radical Left’s hope against hope; I’m going to sue some of them,” Trump continued.

“Also, unlike many people who like to “talk nonsense,” I never went to the infested island of Epstein, but almost all of these Crooked Democrats and their Donors did,” Trump added.

President Donald Trump published a Truth Social post Monday afternoon criticizing those who falsely claimed he had been to Jeffrey Epstein’s island.

There is no evidence that Trump ever went to Epstein’s infamous island, but there is documentation that the president traveled on Epstein’s private jet.

During Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Noah joked that Trump’s interest in Greenland was because ‘Epstein’s island is gone so he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton.’

Trump lashed out at the Grammys on Truth Social on Monday, calling them ‘almost unwatchable.’

“Host Trevor Noah, whoever he is, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low-Rating Academy Awards,” Trump wrote. ‘Noah falsely said about me that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! ‘I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to or near Epstein Island and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement I have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.’

He described Noah as a ‘complete loser’.

“I will send my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, stupid MC and sue him for lots of dollars,” Trump wrote, telling the comedian to look into other cases that have brought huge damages to the president.

‘Ask little George Slopadopolus and the others how this turned out,’ he said. ‘Ask CBS too! ‘Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!’

Trump has been on a tear over the Epstein files, which have been a persistent political issue since he returned to office last January.

On Friday, another document archive was released by the Ministry of Justice, containing more than 3 million pages of documents, as well as 2,000 videos and around 180,000 images.

The president’s name was mentioned in approximately 4,500 of the documents.

These included an email signed ‘Love, Melania’ that appeared to be addressed to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s long-time friend and now-jailed accomplice.

The names of the sender and recipient of the email dated October 23, 2002 have been redacted.

But the message begins: ‘Dear G! How are you? Good story about JE in NY magazine. ‘You look great in the picture.’

The email continues: ‘I know you are very busy flying all over the world. How was Palm Beach? I can’t wait to get down. Call me when you get back to New York. Hope you have a good time!’

Before Friday’s release, the Justice Department made nearly 500,000 pages of material public.

The new set of Epstein files includes some unproven allegations about Trump and information about Epstein’s relationship with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who was Epstein’s next-door neighbor on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

There is no evidence that Lutnick did anything wrong.

The files contain unverified tips requested from the public about Trump, and the Justice Department warns they ‘may contain forged or falsely submitted images, documents or videos.’

Trump’s name also appears in treasury news articles and emails.

The Justice Department’s release of the Epstein papers on Friday will likely be the agency’s last.

In November, lawmakers from both parties voted in favor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which would require the Justice Department to release the Epstein files.

Trump signed the bill into law on November 19.
