Trump rages at Hamas with Gaza deal on the brink as jihadists publicly execute enemies | World | News

Donald Trump announced that Hamas has not yet returned the bodies of dead hostages because the terrorist group is carrying out public executions on the streets of Gaza. The US president announced the return of 20 Israeli hostages living on the social media platform Truth Social.
But he was angered that Hamas had failed to fulfill the other part of the peace plan: handing over the bodies of the dead. Mr. Trump wrote: “ALL TWENTY POSTAGES ARE BACK AND FEELING AS BETTER AS CAN BE EXPECTED. A huge burden has been lifted but the job has NOT been done. THE DEAD ARE NOT RETURNED AS PROMISED! Phase Two begins NOW!!! President DJT.”
On Monday, the US President confirmed that phase one of his 20-point peace plan has been completed, meaning the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) is withdrawing from parts of Gaza.
He said this gave Hamas “validation” to reassert control over certain areas.
Mr Trump added: “Well, they [Hamas] “They’re standing because they want to stop the problems and they’ve been open about it, so we gave them the go-ahead for a while.”
This came to light after horrific videos emerged showing Hamas members publicly executing people on the streets of Gaza.
Images shared on social media show armed militants wearing green headbands linked to the terrorist organization standing behind many victims.
The men, blindfolded, kneel over the group and appear to have been beaten.
As the men fall to the ground, gunshots are heard and the men around shout “Allahu Akbar”, which means “Allah is great”.
Hamas said in a statement that these people were “criminals and collaborators with Israel” but did not provide any evidence of this.
He called for taking back control of Gaza after the withdrawal of Israeli troops on Monday, saying he would eliminate “outlaws and Israeli collaborators”.
