Trump says in his social media post he was a doctor, not Jesus. A Catholic school alum weighs in

The general consensus is that President Trump his social media post wearing a bathrobe after a busy weekend He angered Pope Leo His participation in a prizefight as the Iranian peace plan collapsed was an attempt to portray himself as a Christ-like figure.

But Trump says we’re doing it wrong.

“As a doctor, I need to be the one to heal people,” he said.

Like Graduate of St. Peter’s Martyrdom As an elementary school graduate in the San Francisco East Bay area, and having seen numerous doctors for a variety of conditions, I feel uniquely qualified to make decisions on this issue.

Holy cards are of great importance in Catholic school. By the time you’re in second or third grade, you’ve probably seen a few hundred of them, so you’ll be familiar with the quiet ethereal glow, the divine gaze, and the pious gaze. A standard feature is the halo, a clearly defined sphere that sits on the saint’s head like a buttery cap.

For the record, Trump doesn’t have a halo on his own Truth Social post, which isn’t always accurate.

So, honestly, the President might not be lying when he says he should be a doctor.

On the other hand, having seen numerous cardiologists, surgeons, and orthopedists, I cannot recall a doctor who wore flowing dresses while bathed in celestial light, a flock of eagles emerged from his ears, and a team of Navy SEALs burst through the hospital ceiling.

And then there’s the fireball coming from Trump’s right hand. All of this begs the question: If Trump thinks a doctor looks like this, what condition is he being treated for and shouldn’t the public be informed about it?

There is also the problem of creation; not the existence of human lives, but the existence of a similar social media post by the president of the United States during wartime. It was described as an image created by artificial intelligence, but who was on the computer?

Did the president sit down at the end of a long day and conjure up an image of himself playing doctor, if not Jesus Christ? Or does he have a team of employees who do this sort of thing, and if so, how could Elon Musk overlook them when he says the government is bloated and is attempting to lay off half the federal workforce?

You would at least hope that the president would have the courage to back up his beliefs. But as criticism of his post grew, Trump deleted it on Monday morning.

I think he should have stuck to the story; He introduced himself as a doctor because he was a healer. The next day he could put on a New York Jets jersey and tell us he was a quarterback. Then Artemis could have posted a photo of himself in the space capsule and told us that he was an astronaut and was considering building a series of Trump hotels on the moon. Ask yourself: Would anyone be surprised?

A man who only knows how to go broke and always doubles down when things go wrong has to stick to his guns or everything will unravel. I would respect Trump more if he walked around the White House with a stethoscope for a week or two or performed brain surgery on Pete Hegseth just to see what was going on there.

What’s going on in Trump’s mind, if I may volunteer a little armchair psychoanalysis, is that failure triggers a sense of grandeur rather than humility.

Things aren’t going well right now, so he’s attacking. Prices were supposed to fall on Day One, but thanks to his turmoil in the world economy, prices rose and are rising now because he helped start a war that makes no sense.

A war criticized by Pope Leo. While the Trump administration attributed a religious obligation to the attack on Iran and Trump vowed to send the country back to the “Stone Age,” he pointed out that Jesus would probably not be on this ship.

Trump, who said last year that he wanted to “try to go to heaven if possible”, is aware that he will no longer receive approval from the pope.

And the man who once called for national prayer, said the Bible was his favorite book, joked that he wanted to be the next pontiff after Pope Francis’ death, and now issued his own holy card, attacked Pope Leo for being “weak on crime and awful on foreign policy” as well as being overly liberal. In fact, he anointed himself holier than the pope himself.

Even Trump’s staunch supporters worked hard on this issue. He attacks Trump as if his criticisms of the pope and his portrayal of himself as Jesus Christ are shocking.

My American friends, some words have been rendered meaningless when describing the current situation. Among them there are shocking, surreal, incredible, unprecedented and unexpected.

If Trump really thinks he is Jesus, let his atonement begin with 100 Our Fathers, 500 Hail Marys, and 1000 Acts of Contrition.

If he really thinks he’s a doctor:

Doctor, heal yourself.
