Trump slams UK as ‘collapsing’ due to migrant crisis with post demanding ‘deport them all’ | World | News

Donald Trump shared a screenshot of a highly provocative message on the Truth Social platform, supporting the claim that the UK is “collapsed” due to immigration. Mr. Trump, who has been particularly outspoken on the issue in recent days, shared a message from Brenden Dilley (@WarlordDilley) on Friday morning.
It read: “We have two choices. Deport third world immigrants, illegal aliens, and America-hating Visa holders. Or surrender your nation, as the United Kingdom did, and watch your society collapse in the coming years.”
Since the 2016 election campaign Donald Trump He has repeatedly criticized immigration to the UK and Europe; argued that this changes the culture and creates security risks. In 2016, he predicted that Britain would vote to leave the EU due to “immigration frenzy” and mass influxes.
More recently, during a visit to the UK in 2025, he called for “call in the army” to stop illegal immigration through small boat crossings if necessary, saying uncontrolled immigration could “destroy countries from within”.
On Tuesday, he intensified his anti-immigrant rhetoric, repeatedly referring to Somali immigrants in the United States as “trash” during a cabinet meeting.
The president told the country’s estimated 260,000 people of Somali descent: “We don’t want them in our country” and encouraged them to “go back to where they came from.”
Cabinet members reportedly cheered and applauded the President’s remarks, Vice President J.D. Vance shook his fist, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said, “Well said.”
The president further escalated his attack, calling outspoken critic and Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar “garbage” and saying, “Her friends are trash.”
Trump’s comments drew immediate shock and condemnation, including from Rep. Omar and an unnamed Mogadishu resident who called the President’s focus on himself and Somali Americans “creepy and unhealthy.”
Experts have noted that Mr. Trump’s language toward immigrants is more negative than that of the average member of his own party, potentially legitimizing such rhetoric in everyday conversation.
