Minister Donald Trump He threatened to go to Nigeria “with firearms” to protect the country’s “dear Christians”, who he claimed were being massacred by Islamist terrorists.

Trump made this threat on Saturday evening Sharing on Truth SocialIt reads: “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the United States will immediately cease all aid and aid to Nigeria and may go into this country with its now discredited “firearms” and completely destroy this country. Islamic Terrorists Who is committing this terrible atrocity?

“I hereby instruct our Ministry of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, fierce and sweet, just like terrorist bandits attack our VALUED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT BETTER ACT FAST!”

Trump called Nigeria “a country of particular concern” on Friday, citing what he described as an “existential threat” to Christians in the West African country.

Trump added that America was “ready, willing and able to save our large Christian population around the world” and that the country “cannot stand by while such atrocities occur in Nigeria and many other countries.”

Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, is almost evenly divided between the Christian-majority south and the Muslim-majority north.

Jihadist insurgencies led by Boko Haram and its affiliate Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have devastated the country’s northeast for more than 10 years, displacing millions of people and causing tens of thousands of deaths.

But there is more to Nigeria than religious violence. Criminal gangs, known locally as “thugs”, are a problem in much of the north-west and midlands. They attack villages, steal property, and kidnap locals for ransom.

According to experts, competition for land, grazing roads and limited resources are behind most of these attacks rather than religion.
