Trump Throws Vance Under the Bus With Bonkers Iran Taunt

President Donald Trump undermined his vice president with his Truth Social rant asking God to brag about killing Iranian leaders while in the middle of peace talks.
“The Fake News Media has completely lost credibility, in fact, it is not credible at all,” Trump, 79, wrote in a speech Saturday morning. “Due to the massive Trump Disequilibrium Syndrome (sometimes called TDS!) they like to say Iran ‘won’ when in fact everyone knows they LOSED and LOSE BIG!”
Trump said Iran’s “Navy is gone, Air Force is gone, Anti-Aircraft apparatus is gone, Radar is dead, Missile and Drone Factories have been largely destroyed along with Missiles and Drones, and most importantly, their long-time ‘Leader’ is no longer among us, thank God!”

The president’s post came as talks between Iranian and US officials began in Islamabad, Pakistan, on Saturday. Trump’s post made no mention of the negotiations led by Vice President J.D. Vance along with special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Vance’s demands differed from those put forward by Kushner and Witkoff before the negotiations.
While the vice president insisted that Iran should not have the capacity to enrich uranium used to make nuclear weapons, Kushner and Witkoff offered a softer deal in which the United States would supply Iran with uranium for civilian use.
Kushner and Witkoff had been leading negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, but those efforts clearly failed as Trump launched his unauthorized war with the country on February 28.

Iran has since said it would prefer not to make a deal with the president’s son-in-law or Witkoff, while regime officials have said they viewed the negotiations with Kushner and Witkoff as a cover used by the Trump administration to trick Iran into thinking they were negotiating in good faith when the United States actually just wanted to launch an attack.
Iran has said it would prefer to negotiate only with Vance, who has long expressed opposition to U.S. military interventions in the Middle East.
The president’s post also claimed that the United States was trying to reopen the Strait of Hormuz “as a favor” to the country’s allies and enemies; This wasn’t because average U.S. gas prices rose more in March than in any month since 1967.
“We are beginning the process of clearing the Strait of Hormuz as a favor to countries around the world, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany, and many others. Incredibly, they do not have the Courage or Willpower to do the job themselves,” Trump wrote.
It is unclear what exactly clearing the throat means.
Iran has effectively closed the crucial waterway to shipping as a result of Trump’s war. It has emerged as an important lever for Tehran amid skyrocketing global gas and oil prices.
The President added: “But very interestingly, all of the empty Oil carrying ships from many countries are going to the United States to LOAD Oil.”
Trump has been pleading with US allies to help him open the Strait, but allies have been largely reluctant to do so. As a result, his administration is reportedly weighing penalties against NATO allies who do not fully support the president’s war in Iran.
The Strait became such a headache for Trump that he threatened to kill the entire Iranian population if it was not reopened; He later backed off the threat when the United States and Iran reached some kind of ceasefire agreement.

In another post on Truth Social on Saturday morning, Trump made a move on “sweet” American crude oil.
“A large number of completely empty oil tankers, some of the largest anywhere in the world, are currently en route to the United States to load the best and ‘sweetest’ oil (and gas!) anywhere in the world,” he said.
