Two arrested in connection to alleged kidnapping of 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian

Two men have been arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping and murder of Chris Baghsarian.

The 85-year-old man was abducted from his home in North Ryde at around 5am on February 13.

“Initial investigations revealed that Chris Baghsarian was not the intended target of the kidnapping and was abducted due to mistaken identity,” police said.

Her disappearance sparked a massive search and police found her remains near a golf club in Pitt Town on Tuesday.

On Wednesday police confirmed the arrest of two men, aged 29 and 24, in connection with her abduction.

No charges were made.
