Two Senior Hamas Operatives Eliminated in Gaza Strikes: IDF

Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had recently shot two “senior” Hamas officials in northern Gaza, the Times of Israel reported, adding that more details would be shared later.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera, citing the Palestinian Red Crescent, reported that at least four Palestinians were killed and 15 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the center of Gaza city.

This came after the Israeli Air Force and Israel Defense Forces eliminated Mohammed Odeh, the new leader of the military wing of the terrorist organization Hamas and one of the architects of the October 7 massacre, in Gaza.

“The operation was carried out on the instructions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz,” the Israeli PMO said in a post on channel X. he said.

Odeh served as head of Hamas’ intelligence staff at the time of the October 7 massacre and was appointed about a week ago to replace Ezzedine al-Haddad, who was eliminated in an IDF offensive in the Gaza Strip two weeks ago.

Odeh was also responsible for the killing, kidnapping and wounding of many Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.

Benjamin Netanyahu also shared this confirmation in an X post, promising to eliminate everyone involved in the massacre on October 7, 2023.

“We have now shot Mohammed Odeh, the leader of Hamas’s military wing and one of the architects of the October 7 massacre. We will reach them all,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed that it hit military structures, command centers and launch sites used by Hezbollah in Lebanon throughout the day.

The military added that since the beginning of the week, Israeli forces have hit 550 Hezbollah targets.
