Two trapped after car flips in horror crash in Melbourne

Two people were trapped in a car following a shocking crash in Melbourne on Sunday morning.

Emergency services responded to multiple triple 0 calls just after 2am when firefighters, paramedics and police officers raced towards Mount Alexander Road in Ascot Vale.

There they found a car that had been overturned on its side, with two people trapped inside.

Firefighters removed the windshield of the vehicle and rescued those trapped inside, and medical teams attended to the injured.

Both vehicles were removed from the road.
