Just days after his son’s preliminary hearing, Matthew Robinson was spotted shuttling between his $600,000 home in southern Utah and the masonry business he runs, the New York Post reported.

According to sources who spoke to the outlet, the business relies almost entirely on referrals and long-standing customer relationships to stay afloat.
After his son was charged with Kirk’s murder, many of Matthew Robinson’s customers decided to continue doing business with the company. Matthew Robinson only mentions his son on rare occasions, according to a colleague.

Matthew Robinson was sued by his brother and one of the company’s co-founders, alleging the embezzlement of $100,000 over two years, according to a lawsuit filed in 2014. The lawsuit alleged that Matthew Robinson concealed financial records and traded jobs for personal favors.
