U.P. CM asks residents to remain vigilant against ‘infiltrators’

Emphasizing that security, social balance and strong law and order in the state are the top priorities of his government, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday urged citizens to be vigilant and get identity verification done before hiring anyone.

Various civilian agencies and law enforcement agencies in the state have launched special verification efforts targeting illegal immigrants. Mr. Adityanath had on November 22 directed all District Magistrates to take prompt and stringent action against illegal immigrants.
