Aadhaar Card Update: The Aadhaar card has become one of the most important documents these days. Banking, train tickets, SIM purchasing and more are required. Aadhaar card update fee
The update fee of an existing Aadhaar card rose from 50 RS to 75. Similarly, the fee for biometric updates was increased from 100 RS to 125 RS. This points to UDAI’s first wage increase in about five years. Reviewed fees will be valid as of October 1, 2025 and 30 September 2028. Wage changes are valid for updates of names, addresses, biometry and other details after a Aadhaar card is given.
Fees for the next cycle
The UDAI also set the fees for the next cycle from 1 October 2028 to 30 September 2031. For services, 75 RS fee was increased to 90 RS, after paying 125 RS, the current services will cost 150 RS in the second stage that started on October 1, 2028.

Updates for Aadhaar cards for newborn will remain free of charge. UDAI also waived the biometric update fee for children and adolescents aged 5 to 7 and 15 to 17. This was 50 RS before. After releasing Aadhaar cards for newborns, a five -year -old biometric update is required, there are updates between the ages of 5 and 7 and between the ages of 15 and 17 again.
