UK PM Starmer to discuss Iran war impact with Bank of England

LONDON: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host representatives of the Bank of England on Tuesday at a meeting of the government’s emergency response committee focusing on the impact of the war in Iran.

“I’ll be chairing a meeting of Cobra tomorrow on the impact (of the war) and I’ll be bringing in people from the Bank of England, so you can be sure we’ll stand with working people through this crisis,” Starmer told union members on Monday. he said.
