UK weather maps show 32C heatwave hitting in June – 18 counties 30C and above | Weather | News

Brits are likely to face scorching weather over the next few weeks as the latest maps show temperature levels rising to 32C. WXCharts’ weather maps for June 19 turned deep red in 18 regions of the country, indicating the possibility of warm conditions.

The weather conditions come days after the UK experienced unstable weather conditions, with parts of the country drenched in rain. Heavy showers are expected to lash parts of Britain this weekend as the Met Office warns of a “risk of thunderstorms” in places. The latest weather maps for June 19 show areas around London, Surrey, Oxford and Cambridge will witness the harshest conditions, with mercury levels rising to an unbearable 32C.

The Met Office’s long-term weather forecast for June 19 to July 3 reads: “The start of the period will be relatively settled for much of the UK.

“High pressure is likely around the UK, bringing drier conditions, particularly in the south and east. However, some showers or showers are still possible, especially in the north and west.

“Winds will be mostly light, temperatures will likely be above normal and it could be hot at times in the south.

“Towards the end of June, low pressure may begin to have more impact, with heavy showers and thunderstorms becoming more likely, especially in the south.”
