Ukraine destroys warehouse of ‘Russia’s Amazon’ in huge strike on Moscow – as Putin’s war hits home
The Moscow region was shrouded in choking smoke today as Ukrainian drones struck the ‘Russian Amazon’, a major logistics hub for Wildberries.
Seven people were killed and more than two dozen were injured in the second attack on the warehouse complex of the online marketplace in the Tambov region.
A major oil hub warehouse in Noginsk also burst into flames following the attack, prompting the evacuation of a nearby maternity hospital.
This comes at a desperate time when Vladimir Putin is ready to allow jailed mafia gangsters to join the fight as he struggles to deal with a growing military recruitment crisis.
The attack on the vast Wildberries base at Elektrostal, 58 kilometers east of the Kremlin, sent toxic black smoke billowing into the sky in one of the largest fires of the war.
The fire was visible more than 30 miles away, with smoke reported in parts of Moscow.
There were reports that Ukraine used jet drones in today’s attacks.
The two attacks on Russia’s largest online retailer will cause major disruption and are part of Ukraine’s campaign to make Vladimir Putin’s citizens feel the consequences of the war he has started and refused to stop.

Tambov regional governor Yevgeny Pervyshov described the attack as a ‘deliberate terrorist attack against civilians’.
Pro-Ukrainian channel Exile+ said: ‘It was probably the best night in a long time.
‘Finally, counter actions began against Russian-controlled logistics centers.
‘There are many more of these centers in Russian-controlled areas than in ours. They all must be destroyed.’
Ukraine continued its war against Russian oil tankers and other supply ships, with 13 ships hit overnight, mostly in the Black Sea.
Ramzan Kadyrov, the warlord leader of Chechnya, a close ally of Putin, called for direct revenge attacks on NATO countries.
He told Putin: ‘You set the task, we will handle the rest.
‘It would be useful to start with the countries that openly and brazenly provide weapons, data and other support to the Ukrainian fascists, hiding behind the acronym NATO.’
Western states providing supplies to Ukraine should ‘smell the TNT’ and ‘as soon as they hear the roar of the Kalashnikov and the clatter of the T-90, they will immediately understand’ and stop their aid.

“It’s time to open fire, and it’s not that difficult,” Kadyrov said.
‘All these evil scumbags only understand the language of power.
‘They fail to understand that Russia is currently conducting measured military operations with minimal casualties among the civilian population.
‘But as soon as we unleash our military machine, as soon as our gears begin to grind their bones, all Western leaders will line up to express their deepest apologies.’
Meanwhile, members of gangs and organized crime groups will be allowed to enter into contracts with the Ministry of Defense so that they can be sent to war.
With this move, mafia and armed gang members will fight for the first time.
According to the Moscow Times, “Those accused or convicted of arms and drug trafficking, nuclear material theft, organizing illegal migration and participating in the activities of ‘undesirable’ organizations will also be able to sign contracts.”
