Unite and resist ring road project in Amaravati, AIKS leader Ashok Dhawale exhorts farmers

Farmers are marching as part of the 4th State Conference of the AP Tenant Farmers Union in Uyyuru on Sunday.

The All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) has questioned the Andhra Pradesh government over land acquisition for the proposed Amaravati Ring Road, alleging that farmers’ consent was ignored.

AIKS president Ashok Dhawale visited Gudivada village in Tenali division of Guntur district and held a meeting with farmers who are likely to lose land due to the project.
