Unwanted items from Alan Carr’s Ayton Castle castle go to auction

The auction will take place at Ayton Castle on Sunday, July 5, with advance viewing on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets are required for both viewing and auction.

Jim Railton, auctioneer at Railtons, explained: “Basically these are the remaining contents of Ayton Castle.

“Alan Carr, as we know, bought the castle and some of the furniture.

“But we are selling the remaining items that he does not want and that the last owners of the castle do not want to take to their new home.”
