Urgent recall issued for food item sold at Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s | UK | News

A salad product sold in many supermarkets in the UK, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, is being urgently recalled. The product is being recalled due to a “possible presence of salmonella” and shoppers are being told to return the product to the store where it was purchased and not to eat it.

Good4U is recalling one of its batches of Super Sprouts Super Greens due to the possible presence of salmonella. All Good4U Super Sprouts Super Greens 60g packages used through May 3, 2026 (including May 3, 2026) are affected by the recall.

No other Good4U products are affected.

Symptoms of salmonella include fever, diarrhoea, and abdominal cramps, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), and the watchdog advises anyone who has purchased the product not to eat it.

Sharing the details of the recall notice, the FSA also said: “If you have purchased the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to where you purchased it. You can contact info@good4u.ie for more information.”

The FSA has called for people experiencing Salmonella symptoms to stay away from work, school or nursery for at least 48 hours after symptoms end to prevent spreading them to others.

Point of sale notifications must also be displayed in all retail stores that sell the product, MEN reports.

These will notify shoppers of the recall and provide information on what to do if they purchase the product.
