The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that a UPS flight crashed around 5:15 pm local time on Tuesday. The UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after taking off from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky. According to the information obtained, there were three crew members on the ship and the accident caused a huge fire.
The FAA confirmed that the aircraft involved was a McDonnell Douglas MD-11.

“LMPD and multiple other agencies are responding to reports of planned crashes near Fern Valley and Grade Lane. The at-grade lane between Stooges and Crittenden will be closed indefinitely. Injuries have been reported,” the Louisville Metro Police Department said.
Kentucky Governor Reacts
Meanwhile, the BBC reported that Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said he believed at least three people died in the plane crash. However, there was no “dangerous” cargo on board.
