US PE firm Recognize, armed with $1.7 billion fund, scouts for niche IT service companies in India

Recognize is currently investing from its second fund. As part of Recognize II, the firm invested in four platform services companies: SDG Corporation, a cybersecurity services company; Digital infrastructure company Sprout; TRANZACT, an insurance company; and HealthEdge, a software-as-a-service platform for healthcare companies.
