US Pushes ‘Grand Bargain’ with Iran: Vance

J.D. Vance expressed optimism following the latest high-level talks between the United States and Iran, describing them as a historic step forward despite long-standing tensions.
Speaking after the discussions, Vance pointed out the importance of the meeting, stating that this level of interaction had not occurred between the two parties for nearly fifty years.
Acknowledging the deep distrust between Washington and Tehran, he said the problem could not be resolved immediately. But Iranian representatives appeared willing to reach an agreement, he added.
Vance emphasized that the negotiations were being conducted in good faith and said he felt encouraged by the current course of negotiations, which raised hopes for continued diplomatic progress.
