US to impose sanctions on Palestinian organisations

The United States says that Palestinians will apply sanctions to the self -government organization and the body representing it on the international stage.
The sanctions affect both the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), known after the same process as the official representative of the Palestinian people in exchange for the Palestinian authority (PA) and Israel, which was determined by Oslo Peace Agreements and to give up violence.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the FKKA members and PA officials would reject the visa.
The timing and language of the expression shows that the Trump administration’s response to this week’s French-Saudi LED conference to the United Nations to support the two future state solutions.
The meeting came as France, England and Canada committed to recognizing an independent, demilitarized Palestinian state, which was subject to certain conditions later in this year.
If the US participated in the UN conference made “anti -Israeli” declarations, he condemned these movements by warning the diplomatic results.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused PA and Plo for internationalization to internationalize the conflict with Israel through the “International Criminal Court of Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
In addition, the US and Israel have referred to a series of complaints for a long time by the US and Israel that they have continued to support terrorism, including the encouragement and glorification of violence (especially in textbooks), and have provided payments and benefits to support Palestinian terrorists and families.
Earlier this year, the Trump administration lifted sanctions on violent Israeli settlers who killed Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
A leading Palestinian politician described it as “revenge” by the United States for the commitments of sanctions to recognize Palestinian state by increasing countries.
PA seemed to reflect this idea in a statement published on Thursday.
“These campaigns are increasing in response to the important and consecutive achievements of Palestinian diplomacy,” he said.
“Especially the last recognition of the Palestinian Province by the key countries, the successful United Nations Conference in New York and the historical declaration published here.”
Mustafa Barghouti, the founder of the Palestinian National initiative (PNI), which is a part of the PLO, said that the United States targets the wrong side.
“Trump’s administration, Gaza and the West Bank, instead of punishing criminals in Gaza and the West Bank, instead of punishing,” Palestinian people punish the victim. “
Israel welcomed the sanctions and thanked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for imposing them.
“This important action [President Trump] And his administration also turns a blind eye to terrorism and provocation support, while revealing the moral deterioration of some countries working to recognize a virtual Palestinian state. “He said.
PA has always rejected complaints around the “salaries” and said that many of the payments were not given any process for the families of all Palestinian prisoners held under the military occupation of Israel and violated the fourth Geneva Convention.
The Palestinians see those who were detained by Israel and have been imprisoned by political prisoners by military courts with a 99 percent conviction rate. French officials said last week that PA expressed the desire to end these payments in response to France’s commitment to recognizing the Palestinian state.
This week’s UN conference further isolated the US with the support of Israel’s support for the continuing the war in Gaza, which he criticized at the meeting.
The conference revealed a strategic gap by Washington to a peaceful peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
The ban on travel to Palestinian authorities may mean a more limited width than a number of financial sanctions. It is a complex and long process that requires PA and PLO officials to receive visas to travel to the US and rarely require special exemptions.
It is not yet clear whether the movement will influence the United Nations in New York for the Palestinian mission. The current Palestinian UN Ambassador and his assistant US citizens.
