Veritas Finance explores ₹1,000 crore secondary deal as IPO plans delay

Founded in 2015 by D. Arulmay, Veritas provides loans to borrowers in the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector and focuses on inclusive financing for self-employed borrowers. As of September 30, 2025, it had 510 branches operating in 11 states (Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh) and the Union Territory of Puducherry.
