Cyberabad Police Issues Guidelines For Spa Centres

These guidelines were published on Friday during a coordination and awareness meeting with SPA Center owners at the Cyberabad Commissioner Office Office Office. Anti -Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), Legal and Order Wing and Special Operation Team (SOT) officials attended the meeting.

The session focused mainly on the importance of legal compliance, alertness against human trade and industrial cooperation in maintaining public security.

In the guidelines, the police clearly stated that it was strictly prohibited to enter any sexual activity in the SPA center. SPA and massage centers should only work between 9 and 9 pm. Facilities should not be used for housing or not to be connected to any settlement area.

All masseurs and masseuses should have valid qualities in physiotherapy, referee or professional therapy. The details of all employees, including the cleaning personnel, should be kept in a record and all personnel must be at least 18 years old.

Centers must comply with all the laws in force, including the law of immoral traffic. The name of the center, license number, license details and working hours should be clearly shown in the facility.

In addition, the details of the licensee, manager, employees, working hours, massage and service types and related fees should be displayed significantly. CCTV cameras with registration facilities will be installed in entry, reception and common areas.

Records should be protected for at least three months. According to the prevention of sexual harassment of women in the Workplace Law, it should be established in centers employing more than it.

The presence of such a committee should be indicated significantly and periodic reports should be presented to the relevant authorities. The violation of these guidelines will invite the criminal action in accordance with valid laws. In case of any criminal activity, the legal action will be taken accordingly.
