Microsoft Touts $500 Million in AI Savings While Slashing Jobs

(Bloomberg) – Microsoft Corp. is eager to show employees how much it transforms its own workplace, even if the company terminates thousands of staff.
During a presentation this week, the Chief Commercial Director Judson Althoff said that artificial intelligence vehicles increased productivity in everything from sales and customer service to software engineering, according to a person familiar with their explanations.
