Weather tracker: heatwave triggers deadly wildfires in Turkey | Turkey

This week, the other parts of Türkiye and the Balkans were held by a heat wave and sparking fires that left at least 10 people in dead and dozens of hospitals.

The temperatures intensified at the weekend and on Tuesday, Greece’s Volos 43C (109F) was on the top. Touristic attraction centers such as Acropolis were closed by the authorities between noon and 17:00.

High pressure throughout the region brought heat and minimal rainfall above the average in June and July, and the rainfall is about 80-90% of the average average.

Roasting temperatures, strong winds and lightning strikes in the region triggered widespread forest fires. Great flames were reported in the wrist, Sakarya and Karabuk in Northern Türkiye and led to the evacuation of several villages and the death of 10 fire and rescue workers and 14 more injured.

Wipha, on Wednesday morning before disintegration with an intense monsoon season already struggled on Tuesday, hit the northern Vietnam to the west on the southern coast of China. Thirty -four people were killed, 77 people are injured or lost.
