What happened to the Coldplay kisscam CEO? Man caught cozying up to his colleague at viral concert has been pictured on a romantic picnic with his forgiving wife – but remains silent about scandal

She sent shockwaves around the world after she was spotted getting intimate with her colleague on a kiss cam at a Coldplay concert.

But married former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron has remained mum about the romantic scandal in which he was caught in an intimate embrace with human resources executive Kristin Cabot during a July 16 Boston concert; The two then immediately separated and tried to hide after realizing they had been seen.

As recently as September, he was even seen enjoying a romantic beach picnic with his forgiving wife in photos obtained by the Daily Mail; Neither spouse had filed for divorce in Massachusetts or Maine, according to court records.

Meanwhile, this week Cabot, 53, broke her silence, claiming she did not have sexual intercourse with her 51-year-old boss and that it was a one-time, alcohol-fueled mistake.

“I made a bad decision and had a few lunches, danced with my boss, and engaged in inappropriate behavior,” he told the New York Times. ‘And that’s nothing. I took responsibility and gave up my career for this. This is the price I choose to pay.’

While he hasn’t made any public statements himself, Byron’s behind-the-scenes actions reveal how the former CEO’s life has been going since his fame and hints that he and his wife, Megan, 50, are working on their marriage.

Immediately afterwards, both Byron and Cabot resigned from their roles. Megan changed her social media name to her maiden name Kerrigan and left her marital home in Northborough, Massachusetts.

Megan has stayed out of the spotlight following the scandal, hiding out at her luxury beach house in Kennebunk, Maine, while being supported by her family as ‘no trespassing’ signs were erected around the property.

But fast forward to September, and the Daily Mail has revealed that the couple appear to be working on their marriage after they were spotted on casual outings together near their coastal getaway for the first time in months, especially when they were still wearing their wedding rings.

Neither spouse filed for divorce in Massachusetts or Maine, according to court records reviewed by the Daily Mail.

On the bright Friday evening, the pair looked happy during a delightful sunset picnic on the beach, with the public storm seemingly a distant memory.

Sitting on sun loungers with sweaters warming their knees against the sea breeze, the comfortably dressed couple watched the sunset and enjoyed sodas and treats.

Things took a different turn a few months later in November, when the couple quietly sold their Manhattan apartment for $5.8 million.

The luxury full-floor condo in Tribeca featured four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a large, open kitchen.

The couple bought the property three years ago from the building’s developer for $5.4 million.

The apartment was never publicly offered for sale, and according to the deed, Andy and Megan are still married.

Andy Byron resigns as CEO just days after scandal

The company confirmed that Cabot also resigned

Cabot reportedly resigned from the company just days after Byron stepped down as CEO.

Meanwhile, Cabot has been shamed online, mocked by celebrities, and branded an “adulterer” by strangers he encounters in public places, Cabot said in his latest article in the New York Times, adding that he has received more than 60 threats to his life.

She admitted that she had a crush on Byron and was excited to introduce him to her friends, but claimed the pair hadn’t even kissed before that night.

Although they shared tequila cocktails, danced together and kissed in VIP balcony seats at the concert, Cabot said this was their first and only time.

But he regretted the moment, which he described as ‘cliché’, adding: ‘I want my kids to know that you can make mistakes and you can really mess up. But you don’t need to be threatened with being killed for them.’

Cabot’s unfortunate decision to duck and hide as the camera panned towards her and hugged Byron went viral, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin calling it out.

“They’re either in a relationship or they’re too shy,” Martin told the crowd. Seeing himself on the big screen, Byron muttered, ‘Damn, it’s me.’

Cabot recalled how she instantly felt ’embarrassed and horrified’, with both she and Byron returning to the pub immediately afterwards.

She was worried about two things: her career and her estranged husband, Andrew, who came to that concert on his own date.

He told the NY Times that he didn’t want to humiliate his ex. She and Andrew had been married for two years but had separated at the time of the scandal.

Cabot also knew how bad it looked to be seen huddled next to his boss. ‘I’m the head of HR and he’s the CEO. ‘This is so cliché and so bad,’ he recalled.

He shared how he and Byron sat at the bar with their heads in their hands, in obvious shock, and began devising a plan to move forward.

Together they went to his apartment in Boston and decided they needed to inform the board of Astronomers about what was going on.

They prepared an email, but by the time they sent it the next morning, footage of their exchange had already gone viral on TikTok.

Both Byron and Cabot were immediately placed on leave by Astronomer while the company conducted an investigation into the incident.

Shortly thereafter, Byron resigned as CEO; Cabot’s resignation followed his.

Cabot said he looked for another job but was told he was now ‘unemployed’.

As the scandal worsened, Cabot hired communications consultant Dini von Mueffling to help manage the fallout from the incident. Von Mueffling previously represented both Monica Lewinsky and Virginia Giuffre in their respective crises.

‘I think as a woman, I took the bulk of the abuse, as women always do. “People were saying things like I was a ‘gold digger’ or ‘I slept my way to the top’, which couldn’t be further from the truth,” he said. Times.

She explained that throughout her career, she had to fend off men who placed their hands on her body uninvited and ignore their inappropriate remarks.

“I worked so hard my whole life to make this go away, and here I was being accused of it,” he said of the adultery accusations he faced.

Cabot filed for divorce from Andrew on August 13. In a statement at the time, he confirmed that they planned to end their marriage before the concert.

She told the NY Times that Andrew, who kept quiet about the incident, citing his family’s desire for privacy, was “nothing but a gentleman” after everything that happened.

Their mother’s teenage children, who feared for their lives at the height of the scandal, are now in therapy and have been welcomed back to school with kindness.

Similarly, Cabot began leaving his home again, saw an improvement in his mood, and even resumed some of his old hobbies.

Cabot told the newspaper that she and Byron remained in contact over the summer, but all communication ceased in September after they agreed their conversations had made it “very difficult for anyone to take action and heal.”
