Nomination papers filing for DDUWJ elections to start on Oct. 19

Notification for Dharwad District Union of Working Journalists (DDUWJ) elections has been released and the election process will start on October 19.
According to a press release issued by District Election Officer Manoj Patil, the process of filing nomination papers will begin on October 19.
Candidates can submit their nomination papers until October 27, and the review of their nomination papers will be held on October 28. The deadline for withdrawal of nomination papers is October 30.
Voting, if necessary, will be held on November 9 from 9am to 3pm at Patrakartara Bhavan on Lamington Road in Hubballi.
In his statement, Mr. Patil said that the counting of votes will start on the same day and the results will be announced.
The voter list has already been published and has been kept at the DDUWJ office on Lamington Road for verification.
Objections, if any, must be submitted in writing to the Electoral Officer by Thursday.
Along with Mr. Manoj Patil, retired Deputy Director Information CP Mayachari will serve as Election Officer.
