Wild photos reveal carnage after allegedly drunk driver crashed onto South Australian beach

Wild photos have emerged of the carnage left after an alleged drunk driver crashed on a South Australian beach.

A 32-year-old woman escaped unhurt after allegedly crashing her Mazda Sedan into wooden railings at Aldinga Beach, about 45km south of Adelaide.

After the collision, the car rolled into the embankment and flew onto the beach.

Wild photos released by South Australia Police reveal that one of the wooden guardrails crashed into the windshield of a car, shattering it completely.

After the police were called to the scene on the Esplanade at around 12.30 on Sunday, it was claimed that the woman’s breath test was positive, 0.110, more than twice the legal limit.

He was charged with drink driving and given an immediate six-month license loss.

His car was towed from the beach. Police asked all eyewitnesses to come forward.

He will appear in preliminary court at a later date.
