Wilmington Hospital ‘shooting’ LIVE: Delaware site on lockdown as police say ‘avoid area’ | World | News

A hospital campus in the USA was quarantined following news of a shooting. Police were deployed to a hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, on Tuesday afternoon, with several police vehicles lined up outside the facility in the 500 block of West 14th Street.

After the public was urged by the Wilmington Police Department to stay away from the area, the site’s administrator, ChristianaCare, said the Wilmington Hospital campus was on lockdown and “emergency services were directed.” Law enforcement officials told ABC News that preliminary information indicates two employees were shot.
