Wimbledon semi-finalist Arthur Fery invites Prince George and Princess Charlotte to play tennis

Fery also received a birthday card from the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Speaking after their interaction, Catherine expressed her delight at Catherine’s participation in the men’s singles semi-finals, saying it was “great to have her there” and “it was great to finally have met her”.

“He wished me good luck for the rest of the year and congratulated me on these two weeks.”

Asked if he would accept the offer to play tennis with George and Charlotte, Fery replied: “Let’s see, I don’t know. Let’s see if I accept the call.”

Lord Frederick Windsor, his wife Sophie Winkleman and Lady Gabriella Kingston were among other members of the royal family who watched the men’s singles final between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev on Center Court.

They join Australian actress Nicole Kidman, American actor Rami Malek, British singer Raye and former world number one Stan Smith.

After Sinner won the title for the second consecutive year, All England Club boss Kate presented him with the trophy.

Fery, who came to the championship as world number 114 and could not go beyond the second round in the Grand Slam, defied all expectations and reached the semi-finals.

He will be confirmed as Britain’s new number one, rising to 36th in the world rankings on Monday and also taking home £900,000 in prize money.
